Acupuncture aims to treat the whole person rather than just the symptoms of an ailment and its purpose is to restore and maintain health by establishing a balance in the body’s natural energy. Years of practise and research have shown that acupuncture is effective in treating a wide range of conditions and many people come for help for specific symptoms. However, many people also find that regular treatment with acupuncture helps them to maintain good health and feel better in themselves.
Amanda’s practise combines two of the most popular forms of traditional acupuncture – TCM (Traditional Chinese Medicine), which is suited to a wide range of physical, mental and emotional symptoms and the 5 Element style, which focuses more on treating each person’s individual underlying constitution, thus producing profound changes in a person’s sense of well-being.
