EMDR Therapy

EMDR stands for Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing and is an effective and fast therapy used for treating disturbing memories, belief systems and behavioural patterns.

It is commonly used to help alleviate:

  • Trauma
  • Addiction
  • Performance anxiety
  • Excessive grief
  • Psychosomatic disorders
  • Anxiety
  • Low Self-esteem
  • Phobias and panic attacks
  • Sleep disorders

The therapy involves having some form of bilateral stimulation by a process such as tapping or watching an object being moved across your line of vision. This is done whilst focusing on the issues you are addressing, and the mind naturally brings up deep-seated memories and emotions that are then reprocessed to allow healing.

Initial Session 60 minutes £50 / Follow ups 90 minutes £70
