We all respond differently to the pressures we encounter in our lives. How well you feel mentally, physically and emotionally are, in some part, due to your current thought processes and belief structures. These, in part, are due to the experiences you have had over your life, with a particular emphasis on your childhood years. The type of emotional support you had when you were growing up will have largely helped shape who you are as an adult today. If you were fortunate enough to have a stable, loving and well adapted family around you as you developed, the chances are that you will now have a stronger emotional resilience than if you had to endure emotional, physical or mental distress. Either way there are times when any of us may feel low, over-anxious, confused, lost, angry or overwhelmingly sad. At times like these it can be very helpful to have the support and expertise of a highly trained practitioner to help you find your way.
