Foot Healthcare

Foot Health Practitioners deliver routine foot care wherever it is needed. They are trained to recognise and asses foot conditioners, treat appropriately and refer when necessary. Many people need simple foot care to maintain mobility and quality of life. Being overweight or diabetic increases the need and both of these conditions are rapidly increasing.

Feet can be affected by many general medical conditions. Some foot disorders can have serious consequences on general heath and well-being. The old saying 'no foot, no horse' can be applied to people to - if your feet aren't working properly then your whole body can be affected, hindering everything you want to do.

Foot Health Practitioners attend to all of the common conditions that affect the foot and leg. This can range from routine care of the nails, through treatment of verruca and hard corns, to functional problems of the foot in gait. Feet are complicated machines. The wok is varied and interesting, every patient displaying different conditions and presentations.

It is especially helpful for the elderly or physically impaired, to maintain mobility and independence, and many young people are into sport and strenuous leisure activities and want 102% from their feet.

Or some of us simply like to be pampered and feel good whilst others need to be reassured that nothing is going wrong with their feet.
